Unforgettable experience in one of the richest areas of biodiversity that still exist on the planet. Not only have the opportunity to approach the most representative species of the Amazon but into their own dominions.

Also known as the river people living around the reserve runs programs for conservation and sustainable development to keep undisturbed the last great tropical forest.

Day 01: (Lima) / Iquitos / Nauta / Pacaya Samiria National Reserve
In the morning, reception at the airport and transfer to our operations office in Iquitos (brief orientation to the main tourist attractions of the city along the way).

Transfer to City Pier Nauta (approximately 115 km / 2 hours from Iquitos).
Navigation upstream on the Rio Marañón to the Pacaya Samiria National Reserve (120 km SW of Nauta / about 2 hours).
Observation in the path of a great variety of birds including herons, hawks, horned screamers, jacanas, parrots and parakeets. So it is possible to see dolphins in the river.

Arrival in the community of Arequipa where you will install the first camp.
Short walk through the nearby village.
Dinner and overnight at camp.

Day 02: Pacaya Samiria National Reserve
Watching birds leave their nests in search of food in the river, including cotingas, macaws, parrots, vultures and probably the harpy eagle (Harpia harpyja).

Breakfast at the camp.
Excursion to Cocha lagoon Shansho (1 ½ hours) following the course of Yanayacu - Pucate. On the way you will see giant Lupuna trees (Ceiba pentandra), Capirona, the Capinuri (Heliocóstilis scabra) and birds like the Toucan (Pteroglossus), Scarlet Macaw (Ara macao), Yellow Macaw (Ara ararauna), Garza Blanca Grande (Egreta alba), Kingfisher (Chloroceryele).

Hoatzin bird watching or "Sansho" (Opysthocomus hoazin), which feeds on the banks of the lagoon.
Return to pitch camp and lunch.
Excursion through the Gorge to see Monkeys Yanayaquillo friars (Saimiri boliviensis), "tamarins' (Saguinus fuscicollis) and sloths (Bradypus variegatus).
Dinner and overnight at camp.

Day 03: Pacaya Samiria National Reserve
Breakfast at the camp.
Quebrada morning excursion by Japan and Yanta Lagoon where you can watch birds and fish. Among the fish species found in the reserve are the piranha (Serrasalmus), shad (Brycun americus), sardines (Triportheus), among others.
Lunch.
Evening canoe ride to appreciate the sights of the reserve at sunset.
Dinner and overnight at camp.

Day 04: Pacaya Samiria National Reserve
Early breakfast before breaking camp.
Navigating the Yanayacu - where is possible to see Pucate pink dolphins (Inia geoffrenssis), "taricayas" locally known as river turtles (Podocnemis unifilis) and probably otters (Ptenerura brasiliensis).

Check the place where you will place the next camp.
Lunch by the river watching the beautiful scenery.
Recognition walk to appreciate the exquisite flora and fauna of this area.
Dinner at camp.
Overnight

Day 05: Pacaya Samiria National Reserve / Nauta / Iquitos
Breakfast at the camp.
Return to the city of Nauta to Iquitos and transfer land.
Transfer to your hotel or the airport is the case at appropriate times.
